Policies and Retainer Information

Our policies are designed to create a fair and positive experience for both you and your artist. Please review them carefully before booking.

Retainer Details

Your retainer (commonly referred to as a deposit) is required at the time of booking, after your application has been reviewed and approved.

Retainer Deduction: Your retainer will be applied to the cost of your tattoo.
Nonrefundable & Nontransferable: All retainers are final.
No-Show Policy: If you miss your appointment without notice, your retainer will be forfeited.
Late Policy: If you are more than 30 minutes late without prior communication, you will be considered a no-show, and your retainer will be forfeited.
Design Changes: If you decide to drastically change your project after booking, and confirming your rendering, the retainer may be forfeited.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

We understand that life happens! Here's how we handle reschedules and cancellations:

Rescheduling (48+ hours): You can reschedule up to two times with no penalty if notice is given at least 48 hours before your appointment. Additional reschedules are at the artist's discretion and may require a new retainer.
Rescheduling Commitment: If you reschedule with 48+ hours' notice but do not rebook within three weeks, your retainer will be forfeited, and a new one will be required.
Late Cancellations (<48 hours): Canceling less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in a loss of your retainer.
Consultation Policy: Consultations are free. However, repeated rescheduling or no-shows will incur a $50 fee to rebook.

If you decide to cancel your appointment entirely and the artist has already completed your design, your retainer will not be refunded.

Retainer Fees

To secure your booking and respect the time and effort dedicated to your artwork, retainers are calculated as follows:

Hourly Appointments: The retainer is half the total estimated cost of your session.
Full-Day or Multi-Day Appointments: Retainers are capped at $500.

Large retainers ensure a higher commitment to the project, reduce no-shows, and allow you to feel less financial burden on the day of your appointment. We also offer interest-free payment plans for added flexibility.

Before booking, please ensure that I am the artist you wish to work with. I am always happy to answer questions beforehand to help you feel confident in your decision. Remember: Retainers are nonrefundable. Please only book when you are fully ready to commit to your project.
